Job Description: The Enterprise Architect is responsible for developing the overall vision that underlies the projected solution and transforming the vision through execution. Enterprise Architects decide which technologies will be used, and work very closely with developers to ensure proper implementation. The solution architect will be responsible for the design, planning and governance of an enterprise's services, processes or components.

• Align initiatives to strategic vision; enforcing use of tech stack tools for all application implementations
• Foster collaboration among stakeholders to achieve consistency of vision
• Implement business-aligned frameworks that support flexible and dynamically reconfigurable end-to-end business processes.
• Drive Architecture Simplification and Collaboration
• Raise opportunities for and share Best Practices within the industry,
• Perform Assessments (Product, Project, Vendor, Due Diligence)
• Enforce and Ensure Functional architecture (use of templates, common designs)
• Manage and coordinate architecture studies, present findings and recommendations to IT and business management staff
• Lead in discussions with development and business teams regarding implementation and design of solutions
• Provide leadership for, ensure compliance to standards
• Promote opportunities for Globalization
• Ensure Architecture strategies are applied to development efforts
• Drive Architecture to improve reuse of components and services,
• Analyze technical architecture, identify shortcomings, provide recommendations and suggestions
• Ensure a robust, reliable, and extendable design landscape
• Maximize reusability and reduce costs

 
How you add even MORE value:

• Bachelor's degree in STEM, Computer Science or Engineering.
• 15+ years previous experience in Information Technology
• Experienced with IBM MW Products: DataPower, MQ, ACE etc.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with API development and operationalizing projects.
• Middleware Development – Demonstrated experience in middleware development (including both functional and technical design work)
• Team Management – Demonstrated team leadership working across a matrixed environment.
• IT Controllership – Knowledge of IT controllership methodologies and standards and demonstrated experience though project execution compliant with systems development life cycle methodology
• Broad knowledge of IT systems, processes and controls
• Change Agent with ability to drive compliance, protocols, & standardization
• Strong organizational skills – ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication, and leadership skills with the ability to quickly build credibility, influence and make recommendations to all levels
• Superior project management skills and follow through
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment
