Description:

Technical Specialist 3 – ETL Developer / Database Administrator
This senior level resource will be responsible for designing, creating, and implementing data pipelines as well as maintaining project databases. Tasks will include data management support activities, data modeling, process documentation, and ad hoc reporting as necessary. Candidate must have experience developing automated ETL processes to normalize data from multiple sources in project databases and be able to create business user friendly Power BI reports based on this data.
• 4-year college degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent technical study
• 8-10 years of relevant experience to include:
• Extensive experience with database development tools
• Experience in Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, and ETL processing
• Excellent problem-solving and quantitative skills
• Experience with custom SSIS packages: configuration, performance tuning, and error handling and management
• Advanced SQL skills: writing and tuning complex SQL queries/scripts
• Experience using Azure interface and products: Azure Data Lake, blob storage
• Experience in data modeling, database management and ETL processing
• Experience with developing complex Power BI reports using advanced features; knowledge of data analytics and generating business insights
• Proven work experience as an ETL developer
• Experience with delivering projects as part of an agile team
