Job description:
Title: Senior Network Engineer
Location: Hybrid remote and onsite Tue – Thursday in Bethlehem, PA
Duration: 6 months
Visa: Any Visa(except h1b and CPT)
Interview: Phone/Zoom and onsite

Need to have Fortinet experience
Please make sure your candidates can technically work through the following network concepts:
Is there someone on your team that can do a technical interview to confirm your candidates can technically work through the following network concepts:
VPN setup and troubleshooting
BGP policy traffic shaping
Wifi concepts
Our client passed on a candidate that could not work through these general network concepts in a technical interview.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Professional Certifications (e.g. Fortinet NSE4, Fortinet NSE5, CCNP, CCDP)
• Industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator
• Solid background in network administration and architecture
• In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)
• Familiarity with access control models and network security
• Knowledge of coding languages for scripting (e.g Python, Perl)
• Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, PRTG network tools)
• Solid understanding of network operating systems (Forti-OS, JUNOS, Cisco IOS)
• Sharp troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently
• Organizational and mentoring skills
