Role: React JS
Location: Remote (location is anywhere in west coast USA.)
Responsibilities
● Create high-quality, user-focused experiences with React.
● Integrate with the Micro Frontend (MFE) infrastructure.
● Be actively involved with building and maintaining our React reusable component
library.
● Mentor junior/mid level engineers.
● Maintain and develop automated tests for your code.
● Participate in an Agile environment using Scrum software development practices,
automated unit testing, CI/CD, code reviews, version control systems (GIT).
● Raise issues proactively that might impact delivery commitments.
● Availability to diagnose and resolve production impacting issues and maintain the
code as needed.
Basic Qualifications
● BS degree in CS or equivalent work experience
● 8+ years of professional experience building single-page applications
● Expert coding and design skills in React using TypeScript
● Experience building Micro-frontends.
● Experience building react component library.
● Experience working with CSS.
● Experience working with cross-browser behaviors and quirks.
Experience of creating accessible web apps
● Proficiency in building REST/GraphQL APIs.
● Working knowledge of user authentication and authorization.
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience with Netlify and Contentful
● Passion for learning and working with new technologies
● Strong understanding of design
● Experience leading distributed teams including offshore
● Product development experience building large scale web applications
● Experience designing and developing highly scalable consumer-facing web
applications.
● Care deeply about writing high-performance, reusable code for components that
will be used across our product.
● Passionate about creating an inclusive and accessible user experience
● Familiarity with SaaS eCommerce and multichannel web marketing.
● Experience with internationalization and localization.
● Experience with server-side technologies like Node.js
