One interview, 90 min duration (45-60 min Q&A, 30 min live Figma exercise) on Zoom.
Job Description:
Must Have:
· Hands-on experience with Figma
· 3-5+ years of professional experience in a UX or UI design role with a portfolio showcasing expertise in UX and UI design for mobile and desktop web experiences
· Understanding of WCAG 2.1 and Section 508 accessibility guidelines
· Resume/Project History: Please include a short narrative of key products/projects worked on at each employer.
· Samples: Please provide link to an online design portfolio or provide electronic samples.
UI/UX Designer (with Figma)
A designer’s primary objective is to turn future-state workflows into interactive designs in Figma. We are digitizing legacy paper workflows into digital workflows. Business analysts will provide workflows for the designer to develop screen flows and interactive designs for review with the stakeholder group. Front-end developers will develop the UI based on these designs. The applications will be focused on data entry, clinical workflows, and academic research. The designer will also improve the center’s style guid.
Required:
· Strong English language skills, must be able to comprehend complex requirements
· Ability to work autonomously
· Hands-on experience with Figma
· 3-5+ years of professional experience in a UX or UI design role with a portfolio showcasing expertise in UX and UI design for mobile and desktop web experiences
· Understanding of WCAG 2.1 and Section 508 accessibility guidelines
· Strong understanding of the elements of visual design — typography, color, and layout
· Experience collaborating with and presenting to cross-functional teams with different backgrounds
· Proven expertise in multiple areas of UX design, including information architecture and visual design
· Fluency in human-centered design processes, usability best practices, and designing for multiple devices, screen sizes, and platforms
Desirable:
• Awareness of how design patterns and front-end frameworks affect the design process
• A responsive design approach that favors proportions over pixels and multi-resolution environments
• Experience in a healthcare environment
