• Extensive knowledge & hands-on experience in managing & troubleshooting Windows /2012/2016/2019 Operating systems in large scale Production Support Server Environment.
• Extensive knowledge in Hyper-V 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019 Deployment, Troubleshooting and Administration

• Extensive knowledge on installing, configure, manage & troubleshooting Microsoft Windows OS, DNS, DFS, NLB and Cluster.
• Administration and Troubleshooting of Hyper-V Network configuration.
• Good troubleshooting skills in Hyper-V Cluster & Replica Configuration.
• Able to manage & troubleshoot Hyper-V checkpoints, Hyper-V VM templates, hardening policy and VM build process.
• Exposure to Windows Server S2D & Hyper-V HCI hardware.
• Administration, configuration of Dell//HP physical servers
• Managing DFS based file server and ensure replication is intact.
• Diagnose and resolve problems associated with the Directory Replication service.
• Strong Knowledge of Troubleshooting skills on Windows server (Blue Screen Errors, performance & capacity issues, permissions issues)
• Scripting knowledge /experience in VB Script, PowerShell is must.
• Handling escalated incidents or high critical tickets providing RCA.
• Predicting Risk/Impact and Participating in Major Changes.
• Handling 3rd party for underpinning contract SLA's
• Working knowledge of server virtualization host and Guest OS.
• To provide technical support to clients, respond promptly to issues reported by clients, conducting root cause analysis and going through various testing scenarios for thorough resolution.
• Develop and maintain operational documentation and specifications on system builds, disaster recovery, and standard operating procedures.
• Drive root cause analysis and provide feedback to improve future customer architecture changes.
• Drive customer escalated issues to closure by providing workarounds and fixes in a timely manner.
• Enhance customer satisfaction by responding to all customer filed issues specific to Hyper- V and providing relief either through self or by driving visibility of the issues upstream to ensure they get fixed.
• Improve product supportability and serviceability by actively participating in new design development to provide feedback to drive increased stability of Hyper-V and Windows platforms for enhanced customer satisfaction.
• An ability to learn new technologies quickly Good time management skills with strong documentation skills.
• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Identify opportunities for efficiencies in work process and innovative approaches to completing scope of work.
• Provide on-site support at data centre for infrastructure maintenance activities.

• Perform in 24 x 7 environment in shift roaster and attend calls whenever assigned
• Appraise Customer in regularly scheduled briefings, of advances in technology related to the scope of Services and make recommendations to Customer that will offer the opportunity to improve performance and/or reduce costs
• identify opportunities for Customer to reduce Equipment and Software costs and/or improve system performance, improve stability, and meet Business Unit objectives;
• test and benchmark new Infrastructure, Software tools, and services prior to deployment into the Production Environment
• coordinate and perform integration testing required by Customer and/or Third-Party Vendors with assistance from Customer where required
• provide training for other support personnel as new technologies are implemented
• review and evaluate new standards, tools and technologies related to the Services and execute Proof of Concept (POC) activities;
• conduct product evaluations and test compatibility and integration with the existing Infrastructure;
• create handover documentation, training, diagnostic scripts, and operational procedures for the operations group; and
• perform interoperability and integration testing of the new hardware, Software and tools, with Customer and/or Third-Party Vendors participation where required
• The Senior VMWare System Administrator shall have strong proficiency in the installation, configuration, and management of VMWare clusters using vSphere v6.5 and above supporting greater than 5000+ VMWare Virtual Servers with SRM, vRealize Operation Manager, vRealize Network Insight, vRealize Log Insight, Zerto, Veeam, Turbonomics.
• Responsible for leading and managing the administrative and design tasks for the virtualized & Microsoft server infrastructure
• Deploys, configures, and maintains VMware infrastructure. Plans and manages workloads, projects, and other administrative tasks associated with the VMware & Server team.
• VMware Administrator would be responsible for handling Critical and P1 tickets related to ESXi and vCenter core service issues.
• Must have expertise in ESXi/vCenter/ vROPs/ vRLI/ SRM log analysis.
• Always provide technical support to clients, and must respond promptly to issues reported by clients, conducting root cause analysis and going through various testing scenarios for thorough resolution
