Job description: Job Title Okta Architect Relevant Experience Years 8+ years in Identity and Access Management technologies; 5+ years in Okta covering planning, architecture, design, implementations, integrations and migrations for CIAM and Workforce access management use cases; At least 2 end-to-end Okta implementation project experience Tools • Okta - Must Have • Active Directory, LDAP - Must Have • SQL, PowerShell, Unix/Linux Shell Scripting - Must Have • Networking, DNS • ITSM Skills • In depth understanding of Okta components, services and dependencies • Previous experience leading Okta architecture and design, Okta environment setup, configuration and deployment activities • Expertise with Okta Single Sign On, Multi Factor Authentication and authenticators, Adaptive MFA, Univeral Directory, API Access Management, application integration and configuration. • Expertise with various OAuth2 Flows supported in Okta, Custom Authorization Servers, SAML Federations, OpenID Connect, SCIM integrations • Previous experience in Okta implementation and integrations with applications, directories, databases and synchronization • Previous experience preparing implementation plans with detailed activities and dependencies • Good knowledge and experience working with Active Directory, LDAP, Databases, SQL, PowerShell, Unix/Linux Shell Scripting • Should be methodical with attention to details • Skilled in coordinating with other teams to manage dependencies on other teams and stakeholders • Skilled in anticipating problems and roadblocks and effectivley communicating and managing them • Excellent communication skills with team leadership ability • Excellent client facing and presentation skills. • Ability to work under fixed timelines and meet deadlines Roles & Responsibilities • Work closely with customer technical team to understand current landscape, gather requirements and plan Okta Setup and Integration activities • Prepare project plan, implementation plan and activities for Okta • Prepare Architecture, HLD and LLD for Okta Env. and Integrations • Okta environment setup, configuration, security, policies, deployment and integration activities • Work with internal AD, Infrastructure, Application teams and external third party teams for Okta integrations • Plan, Architect, Design and implement AD and database integrations and synchronization • Group mgmt. and user onboarding/offboarding/lifecycle mgmt. with clearly defined processes • Set up and configure SAML Federation with third party IdPs for SSO • Set up and configure custom authorization servers for API access management • Set up and configure custom user and customer journeys with identity orchestration and workflows • Prepare Okta env. and configuration documentation Thanks & Regards, Sandeep Pandey VBeyond Corporation sandeepp@vbeyond.com
