SUMMARY: The basic requirements of this position include a strong command of the tools with which the Oracle Applications (E- Business Suite) are built. These tasks should include, but not be limited to, interfaces, forms, and reports. The Application Developer's role is to write, code, test, and analyze software programs and applications. This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software specifications throughout the production life cycle.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNTIONS:

• Create technical specs from business functional requirements
• Solid experience with Oracle EBS R12 Applications, specifically HCM (full suite) and Payroll.
• Expertise in Testing and Documentation
• Must have complex interfacing experience – Interface Tables/Import Programs
• Oracle EBS R12 environment experience and Oracle Applications Framework experience
• PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, XML Publisher and Java experience
• Experience developing and troubleshooting custom extracts and interfaces with third party vendors.
• Troubleshoot and work with Business on enhancements and resolving issues

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• SPL/QL Programming
• XML - Advanced
• Linux Fundamentals
• Linux System Administration
• Linux Application Development
• UNIX Shell
• EBS AME/Workflow a plus
• Ability to utilize available resources and documentation to learn new skills/technology or solve new problems.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Ability to effectively interact with business partners and internal team members

 

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:

• 4 – 6 years of experience in Oracle EBS Applications development
• College degree in related technical or equivalent work experience
• Oracle certifications a plus
