Title : Aruba Wireless Network Engineer
Visa : GC/USC/H4 only
Duration : 6 Months Only (After 6 months client will convert to Full Time )
Location : Must be local to Fort Lauderdale, FL this would be an onsite role.
Rate : Up to $45/hr c2c
This client would also need the candidate to work on-site 5 days per week during the onboarding process until they feel comfortable working remotely. From there it would be a hybrid schedule!
- Mid/Senior level engineer
- They are looking to focus on the wireless experience – need someone who knows Aruba Wireless and Clearpass – Aruba cert would be a big plus
- Routing, Switching, SD-LAN – Cisco is the main product in addition to Aruba
- Someone with Aruba in a mid-level role who is looking to grow into a senior engineer is the ideal person
- Additional Nice to have's:
- Scripting – this is nice to have, the prior guy did this and they don’t have a formal automation team, but this isn’t required (basic skills would be fine) ; Python to update switches quickly
- Certs: CCNP is required, CCNA is a plus (not required)
- Cloud - They provide the connectivity to the cloud world, so it’s good to understand – but anyone who’s been in a large enterprise environment would work
REQUIREMENT:
· Minimum CCNP.
· 3 to 5 years of experience in an enterprise network environment.
· Strong Aruba wireless experience.
· Strong knowledge of network fundamentals Layer1 – Layer7 concepts.
· Proficient in troubleshooting enterprise Wi-Fi.
· Strong knowledge of network protocols such as Spanning Tree, Vlans and broadcast domains, Dot 1q Trunk, BGP, GRE tunnels, IPsec tunnels, basic routing and packet forwarding principals.
· Understanding of how other key protocols like DNS and DHCP work.
· Good communication skills written and over the phone with customers.
· Strong time management and organizational skills.
