Position: IOT Solution Architect Role

Location: Lisle, Illinois (Hybrid)

Duration: C2C/ Full Time

Job Description

Responsibilities:

•             Work with customers to explore their business issues and understand how Azure IoT can help address and resolve these issues

•             Educate customers on the value proposition of Azure IoT and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.

•             Capture and share best practices from your customer engagements and share across the Azure Solutions Architect community.

•             Provide consulting support to the customer and Customer service teams, drive complex interactions between the customers, Azure service teams, Customer teams, and third-party partners.

•             Create or otherwise contribute to business cases for Customer projects.

•             Act as a trusted advisor to the customer and a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and partners

•             Able to provide technical architecture and lead a team to address cloud solutions.

•             Proactively provide guidance on engineering methodologies, standards, and leading team.

•             Analyse multiple sources of structured and unstructured data to propose and design data architecture solutions for scalability, high availability, fault tolerance, and elasticity

•             Reviews software developed by other team members and relay their findings to those teams.

•             Prepare documents for data architecture and maintain knowledge on large data structure as well.

•             Collaborate with new and existing external vendors and provide support to all objectives and assist to create various data architecture

 

Requirements:

•                      Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant field.

•                      A minimum of 12 years' experience in a similar role.

•                      Experience with IoT Application development processes and IoT architectures

•                      Industry experience – for example in Manufacturing, Automotive, or Oil & Gas.

•                     Good written and verbal communication skills

 

Must Have Skills 

Azure IoT, IOT Application development, Python, Spark and IoT Architectures in Manufacturing, Automotive
