Lead & Senior Azure Data Engineer :: 6 Months Contract

Title : Lead & Senior Azure Data Engineer
Duration: 6 + Months Contract
Location: Remote (EST Time Zone)
Implementation Partner : Xtivia
Interview : Vendor Interview and Client Interview 
No of Positions: 2 (1 Lead & 1 Senior Level)

Role and Responsibilities:
 

• Design, develop, test, and deploy data engineering pipelines on Azure cloud platform
   
• Provide technical leadership and guide junior team members
   
• Analyze and profile the data to understand and resolve the data quality issues
   
• Participate in design and code reviews and provide suggestions
   
• Create near real-time data pipelines
   
• Document the design
   

Preferred Skills/Experience:
 

• 9-10 years of overall IT experience designing and implementing variety of data engineering solutions
   
• 6+ years of data engineering experience primarily on Azure cloud platform using Azure BLOB Storage / ADLS, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Logic Apps, Key Vault.
   
• Must have played Lead role on at least 2 projects
   
• Must be good in coding SQLs and Python
   
• Must have strong Data Warehousing conceptual knowledge
   
• Must be able to work on multiple tasks
   
• Must be a self-starter and willing to learn
   
• Must be hands-on
   
• Must be client-facing
   
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
