Job Description:
The PM team is a tight-knit group that is dedicated to managing the delivery of a portfolio of enterprise data science applications for our end clients. Joining our team, your responsibilities include:
- Working with stakeholders for requirements & acceptance criteria
- Planning technical feasibility and resource allocation -- managing time, scope, costs
- Participating in prototyping & technical design discussions (data science)
- Establishing and coordinating relationships with internal resources and third-party vendors
- Performing risk management and mitigation
- Optimizing delivery processes & automating status dashboards
- Product testing & verification
- Implementing feedback loops and monitoring
- Ultimately driving and owning product delivery
Required skills:
- Must have 1+ data science/ML project as contributor/stakeholder
- Familiarity and comfort with data science concepts & jargon
- Extensive working experience in software project management
- Top-tier client-facing and internal communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
- Top-tier organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking; nothing 'slips through the cracks'
- Humility: when you falter, you own it; when you succeed, you thank your peers
- Appetite for quality: misspellings irk you; if someone claims truth, you question that claim
- Self-sufficiency and persistence: you run toward challenges, not away from them; every obstacle is a chance to learn
- Extensive experience managing Kanban boards like Asana, Jira, etc.
- Familiarity with analytics dashboards like Grafana, Tableau, etc.
- Familiarity with database concepts and query languages (SQL)
- Familiarity with devops/CI tools like Jenkins, TravisCI, etc.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software domain
