JOB DESCRIPTION:-
Required Skills:
• Define data requirements, gathered, and mined large scales of structured and unstructured manufacturing and sales data from multiple systems.
• Write complex ad hoc SQL queries that included selects, joins, union, create temporary tables, use of Where clause and simple functions (e.g., sum, Min, Max, Avg, Concat, cast, substring, etc.). Advanced usage of MS Access and MS Excel and various tools for data manipulation.
• Provide data analysis, data profiling, reconciliation, data mitigation solutions in a complex global enterprise JDE and SAP systems.
• Can create data quality test queries used to support Tableau visualizations.
• Perform data validations leveraging BIgData technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Impala and leveraging cloud computing technologies such as AWS (Amazon Web Services).
Job Summary:
• Recommend and implement changes to improve overall data quality and processing times, as well as anticipate future needs.
• Monitor master data integrity in key systems and lead processes to achieve data quality target.
• Perform ongoing data analysis activities and provide analytical support on business metadata to ensure that it is accessible and meaningful to business users.
• Ensure data documentation policies and procedures are properly developed and maintained.
• Collect and interpret data. Identify patterns and trends in data sets.
• Develop analysis and reporting capabilities. Build scripts that will make data evaluation processes more flexible or scalable across data sets.
• Support big data infrastructure architecture (Cloudera, StreamSets, Marklogic, Denodo)
• Lead the build and operationalization of monitoring and tracking of data quality and data flow dynamics.
• Lead the build of Service APIs to facilitate easy access.
• Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, developing and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data.
