JOB DESCRIPTION- Position: NetSuite Developer Location: Atlanta, GA /Remote Summary of position: This opportunity will join an existing ERP team, focused on the implementation and configuration of NetSuite for increased functionality and new company acquisitions. Experience with NetSuite ERP in a OneWorld environment with an emphasis on Supply Chain, Finance/Accounting, CRM, Light Manufacturing, Multicurrency, Intercompany transactions. This position will handle internal customization to get the most out of what NetSuite can offer with an emphasis on integrations to support In House and 3rd party Enterprise Systems used across our various business units. This role is key to help scale our organization and improve our business processes. Responsibilities: Weekly Activities: • Collaborate with other teams to gather requirements. • Come up to speed on 3rd party business systems and their API’s. • Build a new integration, with documentation and tests to support our large-and-growing employee base. • Whiteboard a fix to a business problem -- and then make it happen. • Collaborate with peers to write, review, or provide feedback on a technical design proposal. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience. Technical Competencies: • Experience using SuiteScript 1.0 and 2.0, SuiteFlow, SuiteScript Debugger. • Experience creating fields and forms, save searches, reports and workflows. • Experience using object-oriented design techniques and programming languages, including C#, JavaScript, and Java. • Experience with DEV Ops and agile development • Experience with REST service development • Experience with other Enterprise Applications such as Avalara, Box, ServiceNow, Strongpoint, and UKG. • Experience with integration platform as a service (iPaaS) Critical Competencies Include: • You are agile • You’ve been building integrations and/or customizations professionally for 5+ years and can point to things you’ve worked on. • You write understandable, testable code with an eye towards maintainability. • You are a strong communicator. Explaining complex technical concepts to other developers is no problem for you. • You possess strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, programming languages, distributed systems, and information retrieval. • You know how to build reliable and safe distributed systems and understand the trade-offs made when engineering a feature. • When things break -- and they will -- you are eager and able to help fix things.
