Typical Day:
100% remote position
Competent to perform all programming, project management, and development assignments without close supervision; normally assigned the more complex aspects of systems work.
Works directly on complex application/technical problem identification and resolution, including responding to off-shift and weekend support calls.
Works independently on complex systems or infrastructure components that may be used by one or more applications or systems.
Drives application development focused around delivering business valuable features.
Maintains high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
Employees are also responsible for performing other job duties as assigned by management from time to time.
Technical Skills:
Experience in Metadata Management role within a large corporation preferably high tech or technology manufacturing.
Understanding of information management concepts such as controlled vocabularies, authority control, data modeling, and schema design.
Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, data quality, data modeling, and data architecture concepts.
Required:
3+ years exp Metadata managers (ex. Erwin Mapping Manager)
5+ years exp Metadata Cataloging Tools (ex. Collibra)
3+ years exp Big Data and Cloud Technology (AWS, Data Lakes, Snowflake)
3+ years exp File format (XML, JSON)
3+ years exp Object Oriented Development (at least one of: Python(preferred), Java, Javascript, C++, Scala)
