Location: US-Remote

Job Description: 

 

About this role: 

As a Sr. SQA Test Engineer you will be responsible for delivering production quality products by validating and qualifying software, firmware, and hardware for all current and future Machine Learning ASIC-based systems. Testing will be conducted using automation and adaptive test engineering methodologies. The Sr. SQA Test Engineer should be well versed with cloud servers, PCIe, CPU/GPU, virtualization technologies, test frameworks, and Python test automation. You will work closely with the Firmware, Software, System Engineering, and Silicon teams to ensure successful product development with aggressive product cycles.

Responsibilities & opportunities in this role:

• Develop comprehensive test plans and test automation to cover Machine Learning for ASIC-based products

• Work closely with cross-functional teams

• Implement and design test infrastructures and automation using Python APIs and Artificial Intelligence automation reports

• Develop expertise in the assigned technology areas including test execution and automation development

• Develop and execute benchmark testing to evaluate the system scaling, performance, stability and power consumption capabilities

• Participate in product specification and design reviews and become a subject matter expert in testing our products

• Contribute to the automation framework as well as test execution

Qualifications for this role:

At minimum:

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics or Computer Science or a related degree; advanced degree desired

• 5-8 years (or more) of relevant experience

• Proficient in programming

• Experience building automation frameworks

• Experience in writing data structures and libraries

• Excellent debugging skills

Highly valued, not required:

• Possess a strong proficiency in following technologies:

• Server based technologies

• Firmware, software, and hardware testing

• PCIe, DRAM, I2C, SMBus, Ethernet architecture and Cloud Technologies

• Experience with GitLab, and Jenkins

• Proficiency in Linux and UNIX

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Outstanding problem solving skills in the diagnosis and resolution of software and hardware issues

• Proactive and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently
