Responsibilities
• Provide top-quality power Bi solutions
• Provide support in defining the scope and sizing of work
• Align the organization's power Bi solutions with their Client initiatives as requested
• Engage with clients to understand strategic reporting requirements
• Responsible for translating business requirements into technology solutions
• Work with domain experts to put together a delivery plan with and stay on track
• Organize all meetings with customers and ensure prompt resolution of gaps and roadblocks
• Stay current on latest technology to ensure maximum ROI for clients
Requirements
• Experience with Azure Analysis Services (Tabular)
• DAX Language
• Familiarity with writing DAX;
• Measures
• Calculated Columns and Tables
• KPIs
• Hierarchies
• Familiar with encoding and partitioning concepts.
• Understanding of relationships;
• Utilizing inactive relationships
• Experience with Azure Synapse (Datawarehouse)
• Writing complex T-SQL statements
• Creating Stored Procedures, Views (including materialized) and functions.
• Tuning queries for performance and accuracy
• Understanding of indexing, partitioning, and distribution of Synapse tables.
• Experience with Power BI
• Creating rich story-driven reports and dashboards.
• Understanding of visuals and their intended use-cases.
• Writing complex DAX statements for;
• Measures
• Calculated Columns and Tables
• KPIs
• Hierarchies
• Experience working with Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS)
• Understanding of Datawarehouse/dimensional data modeling concepts.
