JOB SUMMARY:

The Network Architect will be responsible for the Design, Implementation, and operationalization of network systems for our clients. The role can include designing, validating, and applying configurations, documenting, and managing the installation of new network devices, and upgrading existing devices as necessary. This role will also take a technical lead in identifying new areas of opportunities.

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and comfortable in a dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. You must be organized and analytical, able to eliminate delivery obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. You must also be comfortable in a sales environment and be able to lead discussions with the client.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Supporting Network Infrastructure Implementation and Operations
· Focus on Security Initiatives within the Networking Domain
o Cloud, Endpoint, FWs, VPN, etc.)
· Designing, Supporting, and Implementing networks including LAN/WAN, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware
· Supporting data center as well as remote network infrastructure
· Troubleshooting network issues
· Collaborating with network engineers
· Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access
· Configure routing and switching equipment
· Provide remote support to on-site engineers and end users/customers during installation
· Provide remote troubleshooting and fault finding
· Work closely with project management teams and project engineers

REQUIRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:
· 5 - 8 + years of network security engineering experience
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
· Experience with Cisco Products
o CCNA/CCNP Level
o Firewalls (ASA, FirePower)
o Cisco Switches (Nexus, IOS), Routers
· Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls
· VPN Experience (Aurba, PAN (GlobalProtect & Prisma Access))
· Experience with LAN/WAN and Wireless fundamental concepts, especially relating to security

· Needs to be able to take general direction and run with it
· Comfortable asking questions for clarification
· Self-Motivated
· Excellent communications skills to work closely with customers
· Ability to present findings and recommendations to leadership
· Experience analyzing packet captures and understanding application traffic flows
· Experience with configuration and management of firewalls
· Experience configuring and troubleshooting a variety of end-user devices (PCs, tablets, printer's medical equipment)
· Ability to read and understand basic packet captures
· Ability to solve problems by identifying causes, gathering, and processing relevant information, and recommending solutions

PREFERRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:
· Understanding of Cisco Client
· Experience with F5 Load Balancers
· Experience with PAN SDWAN (Cloudgenix)
· Excellent interpersonal and organization skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
