Job title: DB Automation Lead Location: 100% remote Duration: Contract& FTE   Job Description: Managerial Skills Have managed team to deliver DB patching, upgrade and automation Have managed & have vision towards how patching & upgrade can be automated for large DB Farms of various technology Viz. Oracle DB, Casandra, MSQL, MS SQL etc. Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding and guide to team & review   Must to have Technical Skills Proven working experience & hand-on related to at least two DB technology (Oracle, Cassandra) Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third party tools Familiarity with programming languages API Problem solving skills and ability to think algorithmically Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to Product owner Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required   Good to have skills Any previous experience on Jenkins, Ansible, Python/Groovy will be useful.
