Role: AWS Network Engineer
Location: Remote (CST TimeZone)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Visa : All

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
•    Identify major areas of systems improvement and drive results, by being able to quickly translate new ideas into solid implementations
•    Delivering physical and virtual infrastructure to support the entire client service.
•    Maintaining a highly available nationwide network of video delivery and metadata systems.
•    Continuing efforts to provide a robust hybrid cloud infrastructure
Qualifications/Requirements:
•    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or STEM degree, Master's Degree Preferred
•    10+ years of experience with Information Technology
•    5+ years of professional enterprise infrastructure engineering experience, building and managing highly available enterprise grade networks.
•    Excellent IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols as well as network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills.
•    Knowledge and experience with major network infrastructure components; Routers / Switches (Arista & Brocade), Firewalls (Palo Alto), Load Balancers (F5, Brocade), AWS Networking and Wireless (Aruba)
•    Knowledge and experience with major internet routing protocols; BGP, and OSPF
•    An understanding of both network hardware and packet forwarding architecture.
•    Experience with the following networking: 
o    Compute: VMware, Cisco UCS, and AWS
o    Storage: Pure Storage, Isilon, AWS storage platforms
o    Network: Arista, F5, Palo Alto, AWS networking components
o    Hybrid Connectivity between AWS and on-premises Datacenters.
o    Web scale, distributed systems
•    3+ years of professional experience with the following networking technologies: 
o    VRFs, VLANs, VRRP, LACP, MLAG
o    TACACS / Rancid / GIT
o    IPSec VPN
o    DNS / DHCP
o    NAT / SNAT
o    IP Multicast
o    VPC, Transit Gateway, NAT Gateway, ALB/ELB, Security Groups
•    A solid background with high availability, global backbone design and architecture
•    Understanding of Hardware Load Balancers
•    Self-Starter, motivated and proactive with strong time management skills and ability to juggle multiple efforts
•    Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication, and leadership skills with the ability to quickly build credibility, influence and make recommendations to all levels
•    Problem-solving; ability to break complex issues into manageable pieces and function successfully in a high-pressure, quick-turnaround environment
•    Demonstrated accountability & execution fulfillment
•    Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment
•    Change Acceleration – demonstrated use of change acceleration in across new processes and controls
