Role : Devsecops Engineer Location : Remote Till Covid
Roles and responsibilities:
• Working in tandem with the cloud enablement engineers as well as the Information security, Enterprise Risk and Data governance teams, this person’s main responsibility is to codify compliance to the governance principles. • Implements items in Azure policy and creates reports/alerts on inconsistencies for the existing central operational teams to act on. • Engineer and implement automated DevSecOps pipelines that stably build, test, secure, and deploy artifacts to running environments. • Review and analyze vulnerability data to identify security risks to the organization’s network, infrastructure, and application’s and determine if any reported vulnerabilities are false positives. • If issues occur, perform a root-cause analysis and change the system to avoid similar issues in the future. • Write clear documentation of DevSecOps solutions. • Document implemented security controls (in support of the Risk Management Framework) • Learn. Research unfamiliar tools/technology/code, find new technology to improve DevSecOps solutions. Experience required: • BA/BS, in a related technical field; or the equivalent in education and work experience • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Information Technology • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in DevSecOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools, and automation • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure • Good knowledge of Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIGs) and an understanding of the Risk Management Framework • Experience with DevSecOps tools, Docker, and Kubernetes. Need Terraform Experience too. • Experience with DevOps workflows using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, and others. • Proven ability to utilize Azure DevOps • Strong experience with API Security, Container Security, Azure Cloud Security • Preferably Azure Certified Administrator Associate (AZ104) and Azure Security Technologies (AZ500)
