Job description
We are looking for a Network and Infrastructure Security PM with demonstrated knowledge in cyber security threat analysis and re-mediation and a practical approach to network design and support. The successful candidate will have the ability to anticipate and recognize security threats, deploy practical knowledge to effectively re-mediate threats, and modify activities and priorities to anticipate and respond to changing conditions. Exceptionally strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer relationship skills are essential.
Responsibilities
· Collaborate with other Security teams to lead and drive complex security assignments with extensive organizational impact
· Evaluate security of proposed infrastructure changes, IoT Devices and net new designs based on established internal compliance standards and industry best practices
· Perform initial triage and analysis of Internal requests to determine appropriate courses of action and next steps
· Follow all Microsoft service delivery methodology for engagements for relevant offerings, including: adherence to delivery process, quality assurance, time tracking, and customer satisfaction
Technical skills
· Demonstrable knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, topology, and security), operating systems (Windows/UNIX), IoT Devices, and web technologies (Internet security)
· Good knowledge of security infrastructure components such as PKI, AD, ADFS, IoT, Network Threat Modeling
· Familiarity with cloud computing and cloud service models. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure an added advantage.
· Knowledge of threat modeling and other security risk identification methods
· Knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques. (IoT Devices specifically)
· Understanding of network protocols from data link through application layer.
· Exposure to multiple security engineering disciplines including application security, secure software development, cryptography, network security, system security, IoT Devices Security and Organizational Security policy.
· Deep understanding of the interplay between attack and defense. Familiarity with current network security and application security tools and how to apply them
· Experience with attacks and mitigation methods, with experience working in two or more of the following: Network protocols and secure network design; Operating system internals and hardening (e.g. Windows, Linux, OS X, Android); Web application and browser security; Security assessments and penetration testing; Authentication and access control; Applied cryptography and security protocols; Security monitoring and intrusion detection, Incident response and forensics; Development of security tools, automation or frameworks.
Qualifications/Soft skills
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent stream.
· Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in the IT support industry, IoT Supply Chain Management
· Detailed technical knowledge of at least two of: application security, system security, network security, authentication/authorization protocols, or cryptography. Hands-on experience in at least one of the above.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong customer orientation
· Ability to work efficiently in a team as well as independently and prioritize tickets based on immediate needs
· Conversant with security concepts and techniques
· Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care
· Technical awareness: ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately
· Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services
· Analytical thinker with the ability to "think outside the box" to resolve customer impacting situations
· SME for processes and tools of projects driven within Microsoft IT
