Job Description:-
1. Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years of related work experience as a Scrum Master working in Agile Scrum or SAFe environments, plus 5 or more years working as a program or project manager working with traditional waterfall techniques and tools
2. Applicable knowledge of and experience utilizing the technologies and tools utilized by Tenet: ServiceNow, MS Planner, etc.
3. Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful agile techniques and software development best practices, including processes and procedures and technologies in the Analytics & BI spaces
4. Previous experience as a patient team lead with excellent coaching and mentoring skills
5. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including effective negotiation, influencing, conflict resolution, and continuous improvement
6. Understands the fundamentals of and has implemented, medium to large scale iterative development programs or projects, along with backlog tracking, burn down metrics, velocity, and task definition
7. Outstanding presentation skills with the ability to communicate with a broad set of constituencies, both technical and non-technical, up and down
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and juggle the needs and pressures of multiple squads and product owners
9. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment enthusiastically and effectively
10. Collaborative, customer-focused and able to create and demonstrate visible value for the organization
11. Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, RAD, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.
12. Agile Scrum (CSM, PSM), SAFE certifications or other advanced agile certifications
13. Supported multiple scrum teams simultaneously for a mid-size to large corporation
14. Applicable knowledge of and experience with analytics tools like Cognos, Tableau, etc.
15. Applicable knowledge of and experience with cloud technologies and implementation
Roles &Responsibity:
1. Reporting to the Enterprise Data & Analytics Portfolio Manager, the scrum master will guide multiple teams/squads and the organization on how to best utilize Agile/SAFe scrum practices.
2. Optimize your squads to get the most out of self-organization, while filling in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks as a Servant-Leader
3. Remove impediments and guide the team to remove project blockers independently
4. Promote a safe environment where issues can be raised, with an emphasis on problem-solving and effective and efficient execution and delivery.
5. Improve transparency and information dissemination through frequent internal and external communication of key metrics such as burn down and velocity.
6. Support product owners, especially on prioritization, escalation and grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
7. Lead product increment planning, scrum of scrum ceremonies and sprint planning in general.
8. Guide your squads toward continuous improvement through leadership, communication, collaboration, commitment, and dedication with some healthy competitiveness.
