Position 1 : Oracle EBS Developer w/projects
Duration: 6-12 Months
Location: Houston, TX(Onsite )
The client is looking for a strong technical person with deep skills in Oracle EBS financials/projects, BI publisher, pl/sql, shell scripting, and OAF to work with the team.
Under general supervision, exercising a high degree of independent judgment and skill on problems frequently of a complex and confidential nature, to participate in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of business applications. In this capacity, as assigned, to undertake such work as: Provide business analysis and programming expertise within an assigned business unit/area, usually as a member of a project team, in the analysis, design, and development of business applications. Responsibilities may include support of systems through essential services. Provide technical consulting support on project or system issues. Evaluate application software packages and make recommendations to management or other project leaders as assigned. Participate with other IT members, customers, and other stakeholders in new product reviews, tests, and pilots. Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems to solve business problems. Regularly coach other project personnel, including on-site and remotely located vendor/contractor personnel, in most phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities to ensure business application systems are developed in a way that complies with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices. Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written and ensure production and quality of applications meets specifications of operational schedules and business activities. Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Develop or modify application programs from detailed specifications. Code, test, debug, and document programs. Develop and maintain application interfaces, reports, conversion programs, and custom functionality. Identify conflicting business practices and integration issues, recommending alternative solutions. (10+ years exp)
- 10 years of related industry or technical experience is preferred
- 10+ years of experience with technical support of Oracle eBusiness Systems modules (Financials/Projects) including Release12.
- 10+ years of experience with SQL, PL/SQL & XML.
- 10+ years of experience with Oracle tools: Oracle Forms and Reports; BI Publisher etc.
- 10+ years of experience with Linux, Unix, developing shell scripts.
- 10+ years of experience with the backend table structures for any Oracle eBusiness system module required
- 10+ years' Oracle database experience is highly preferred
- 4 years of experience with Advance debugging skills in OA Framework.
- 4 years of experience with in OAF Personalization.
- Experience working in a multi-developer, team environment is preferred.
Position 2 : Oracle Cloud Financials & PPM Consultant
Duration: 6+ months
Remote
We are focusing more on the Fixed assets, Cash Management, Account receivable.
What you'll do:
· Lead functional tracks on ERP Cloud Implementation
· Provide subject matter expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials in Chart of Accounts re-design, AP, AR, FA, CM, & GL and BCEA.
· Lead the implementation team on accounting principles and rules
· Engage with clients and lead workshops to define business requirements
· Conduct gap analysis between delivered functionality and client requirements and recommend solutions for identified gaps
· Document Gaps, Issues and Solution Process Flows
· Map customer's business process to Oracle Cloud Financials processes
· Configure Cloud Financials to align with customer's business processes
· Migrate customer financial data from Legacy to Oracle Cloud Applications
· Develop testing scenarios and test scripts
· Lead Teams and testing events like unit, integration and acceptance testing
· Facilitate knowledge transfer
What We're Looking For:
· Demonstrated ability to provide subject matter expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP Financials modules of AR, FA ,CM. Other modules will be a plus.
· Lead Experience in Cloud Oracle Applications implementations
· Minimum of 5 years of ERP Implementation Experience with least 2 full cycle implementations on Oracle Cloud Applications as Financials Module Lead
· Preferably at least one K-12 (School District) Client with exposure to Public Sector Accounting, CAFR Reporting, Budgetary Controls and Encumbrance Accounting
· Experience in Business Process Consulting, problem definition, facilitating global design workshops, business process analysis, providing subject matter guidance, system integration testing, training and production deployment
· Exposure to SCM and Project Portfolio Management applications is a plus but not mandatory
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a diverse group of people
· Able to effectively collaborate with Customers, PMO, Onsite & Offshore team
· Capable to work independently, take initiative with minimal supervision yet can participate as a team member with a willingness to help where needed
· Excellent verbal and written communication, active listening and interpersonal skills
· 4-year Bachelor degree (or equivalent experience)
· Able to travel when it is deemed safe.
