We have implemented snowflake and matillion on Azure and we are ready for data and production
- we also use an Azure Data Lake - this consultant must have strong Snowflake knowledge on the Cloud (we use Azure but AWS ok)
- primary role will be to help us figure out how do we make sure our developers use these properly, what tools, packages of tools, etc.
- they should understand and tweak basic SQL scripts
- need someone well versed in scripting languages
- must also have data masking skills when it comes to PII
- we really need an expert in Snowflake features and someone who can work with 4,5,6 other teams here to help drive our vision.
- this is more than just platform work, we make sure the developers have the right tools (Azure explorer, SnowSQL, package these tools
- 2 Streams of work here 1) Snowflake Data Management, we need to harden this solution, make sure it is operationally ready, etc. as Snowflake is in Minimum Viable Product state now 2) We need to package the tools properly for developers and stand them up in Azure, our developers are our customers
Extensive experience in the deployment of data platforms and tools in a cloud environment
Experience working with cloud provider tools and architecture (Azure or AWS)
Experience using scripting languages such as bash, PowerShell, SQL and/or Python
Experience in management and tuning of data platforms like Azure native BLOB and ADLS storage and Snowflake
