What you'll do:
The reliance on data and business analytics is increasing exponentially as business owners realize the power of having more insight into their data. This team has the exciting opportunity to innovate, consult and develop an offering that will make a huge impact on thousands of people.
As a Business Intelligence Analyst you collaborate with other BI analysts, Data Engineers, Architects, and Product Managers to deliver actionable insights to business leaders. To accomplish this goal, you'll consult with business leaders to understand their key decisions and information needs in running their respective businesses. You'll work to fulfill those information needs and may use dashboards, custom data models, and/or reporting to do so. You will present to Executive Leadership and enable KWRI business leaders with the data to make informed, data-driven decisions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Consult with Business Leaders
- Understand business stakeholders' objectives, their most important metrics, and how they measure performance and program effectiveness.
- Effectively communicate/present results to Leadership and broader KWRI organization
- Learn from, and share knowledge and skills with your teammates to grow BI's total impact to the organization
- Build and deploy great data solutions
- Develop web-based dashboards, reporting, and analysis tools that will be embedded in applications for Keller Williams Agents and leadership staff in Market Center Offices.
- Work with leadership in different Corporate business units to identify opportunities for us to provide actionable insights to use in BI tools to help them work more efficiently.
- Receive and respond to internal requests for custom-coded SQL data exports.
- Develop a deep, insightful understanding of our organizational data and 3rd party data
- B.S. degree in math, analytics, statistics, computer science, or equivalent technical field
- 2-5 years of experience with modern front-end BI reporting tools such as Tableau, Business Objects, SiSense, Google Data Studio, and others
- Ability to explain complex technical information in a clear manner to non-technical audiences
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, experience presenting to all levels of an organization
- Proficient SQL skill and ability to write complex, optimized queries
