ELK Engineer

Project Overview: Contractor will be supporting existing Elastic (ELK) infrastructure. Elastic (ELK) Engineer for our Enterprise Monitoring and Tools (EMT) organization. The candidate will maintain and manage a multi-site Elastic (ELK) Enterprise 7.x platform ingesting 3TB/day, and responsible for the performance and stability of the environment. The Elastic (ELK) Engineer's primary role is to ensure the stable operations of the Elastic (ELK) environment, plus, providing expertise of decommissioning infrastructure. Additionally the Elastic (ELK) Engineer will be well versed in monitoring, configuring, installing, administering, planning, developing, maintaining, disaster recovery and supporting the availability of Elastic (ELK).

Contractor's Role: The Elastic (ELK) Engineer is a Self-starter, able to work with minimal direction from management. Understands the need for lateral thinking and displays willingness to adapt to new ways of doing business.

Experience Level: Senior

Qualifications:
• Architect, design, install, support, and maintain Elastic (ELK) infrastructure for a highly available and disaster recovery configuration
• Administer Elastic (ELK) and Elastic (ELK) Application for Enterprise Monitoring and Tools (EMT)
• Performance tuning, index lifecycle and maintenance
• Standardize Elastic (ELK) agent deployment, configuration and maintenance across a variety of UNIX and Windows platforms
• Troubleshoot Elastic (ELK) server and agent problems and issues
