UX Developer

Location : Columbus GA ( Remote till Covid)

What you would be doing:

• Participating in Discovery phases to gather business stakeholder needs.

• Conducting user interviews to determine user needs.

• Advocating for user feedback and encouraging project empathy through UX best practices such as workshops, creating user personas, user stories, user flows, etc.

• Acquiring user research that generates insights into impactful design solution decisions.

• Problem-solving that takes into account technical limitations and constraints as they apply to any responsive or SaaS projects you design.

• Designing simple and intuitive solutions into low-fidelity and high-fidelity renderings using programs like Adobe XD and Figma while adhering to customer branding guidelines.

• Perform regular design reviews with product owners and teammates to iterate on designs based on feedback and improve testing results.

• Administer user testing to validate design choices.

• Identify and document any pain points during the project to help shape both current and future product strategies.

• Work with a cross functional team comprised of business analysts, project managers, solutions architects, developers, and quality assurance testers to design, develop, and execute on projects.

• Support your work peers and organization by continuing to learn and collaborate as a professional, giving and receiving constructive team feedback.

What skills and experience we need you to have:

• 2+ years as a UX Designer or other user-center design focus equivalent.

• An online portfolio demonstrating samples of your design capabilities and process.

• Proficiency at producing wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design systems.

• A thorough understanding of UX design principals and best practices.

• Ability to lead clients and teammates through design demonstrations and choices in a courteous and professionally comprehensive manner.

• Ability to conduct and extract data from user and stakeholder interviews.

• Ability to administer workshops and testing for gathering design data and validating solution choices.

• An appreciation for good design, the latest industry trends, and how it can be used to improve lives.
