Role: Product Manager
Location: Bentonville, AR - 100% Remote
Duration: 6 months to start
Rate:60/HR CTC
Ecommerce exp is a good fit
Candidate Profile:
- Best candidates are the ones that have experience working in the Legacy/Mainframe/DB2 space in past roles.
o More recent experience around NextGen tools (SQL, WebServices, API, etc…)
- Retail experience would also stand out on a profile so they can jump into the domain quickly.
- Looking for strategy focused people that can help them move from old to new with these capabilities. More of a Traditional Product Management role.
o There will be some Product Owner duties working with a backlog, user stories and acceptance criteria.
o Heavier emphasis though on the Strategy focused aspect of the role.
- Buzzwords: Wants to see what they delivered on the resume, not any certain buzzwords. Product Manager: Strategy, Roadmap, KPIs, Minimum Viable Product, etc…
- Domain/Environment Size: Retail domain knowledge is preferred, but not required. Open on environment size as they don't have to come from a Fortune 500 environment. If they can articulate their past Product success that is more important.
