12+ months contract

 

Rate:- $50 to $55/hr on C2C

Except OPT & CPT all visa open

 

 

Job Description:

• Hands on exp on Big Data / Hadoop (Must have – HBase, Hive), Python (Nice to have), PySpark / Spark with Scala (Must have), Shell scripting.
• Hands on exp on Java is mandatory.
• Overall exp of 8-10 years with 3-4 years exp in Big Data and Java.
• Able to deploy code in production, support production issues and ad hoc maintenance/performance tuning activities.
• Must have worked in Agile methodology.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good to have prior experience in Atlassian tools preferably JIRA.
• Should have led a team of 3-4 developers

 

·         5+ years of Hadoop administration experience

·         Demonstrated ability in deploying and administering Big Data clusters.

·         Demonstrated ability in managing HA on Big Data Clusters

·         Big Data administration certification is preferred 

·         Spark and Hadoop developer certification is preferred

·         Considerable experience on Hadoop (any Hadoop distribution) cluster installation, management, and administration experience

·         Hands on experience on MapR / CDH distribution.

Experience in Trouble shooting, performance tuning, cluster monitoring and cluster configuring
