Location: Eagan, MN - Remote

Duration: 8 Months

Rate: $55/Hr. on C2C

 

Job Description

 

 

With recent candidates it seems like there's an expectation this is a PO role.  Want to be clear with candidates that this is a Systems Analyst role/title with a good blend of technical, business, analytical & Agile background/skillsets.  The PO part comes in with a background/understanding for Agile story authoring, refinement, value & Business/Stakeholder engagement to help drive Roadmap, Breakdown work into Epics/Features into stories and to support acceptance criteria & testing for delivery.  There will be a PO on the team, but anticipate this SA role will continue to have regular engagement with the PO & our Business SMEs/Stakeholders.

 

Need/Team: Rebates team – most visible area within prime, process millions of rebates. Focus really increases after partnership with ESI. They call it Sequoia.

 

Prime One – main application. Team has 3 parts: trade, finance & accounting, and analytics

 

They are Agile from a Dev perspective but not on the business side. There is a gap of what this means for their product. Issues with business engagement, all 3 areas operating separately but need to have more continuity. Need to align on vendors, work, etc….

 

This person needs to be business savvy to engage with stakeholders but also very technical. Work with the data and claims and large file sets.

 

Lacking roadmap planning, kind of just pulling pieces together as they go and they need to change that.

 

ETL data to DB2 database and Bobj for reporting.

 

Rebates would be the best but otherwise focus on PBM industry experience

 

Soft Skills: lots of challenges and escalations on this team. They must be patient, positive and flexible. Can handle ambiguity and shift focus along the way.

Note – one of our current challenges is lack of PO (+Agile – Product Model buy-in) role w/ our Stakeholders.  Need resources that understand this role, the challenges & can step in/bridge the gap.
