Required Skills

Java Core Java Soap Rest Spring Batch JavaScript + Angular some lead is a plus

Mongo DB - Other NoSQL are okay as long as they are willing to learn. WS02 - Nice to have Prime always likes previous healthcare/pharmaceutical experience

 

Job Description

Notes from Call:

Backfilling an FTE with a contractor (6 months). Because of work they want to fill this ASAP. Most of the technologies are Web API's and Web Services (REST / SOAP), Core Java, UI (Angular / Node). Spring. One application has some WSO2 components. This is a nice to have. There are currently only 2 java developers and some IBM series partners.

Open to remote work. This person would help to have someone who can solution designs. Most of the time will be heads down development. Experienced enough to be independent. This is full stack.

Purpose of project is to work across platforms. One of the apps is the eligibility application and working with real time messages through API's to check eligibility status.

Both consuming and creating web services. Node/Angular, spring

 

 

Position Overview:

Daily Responsibilities/Job Description:

Design, develop, test and maintain new and existing Java applications. Should be able to convert system requirements into technical design and code.  Participate in team meetings.  This team works in a fast-paced environment.  Candidate is expected to work in both new development and providing production support as needed.

Interaction level with Management/Team Members:

Daily interaction with team members, IT lead and project managers.  Active interaction with the IT Manager.

 

Skills Overview:

Qualifications/years of experience:

3-5 years of Professional development experience.

Must be a self-starter, can work with minimum supervision.

 

Must Haves:

Java, XML, REST and SOAP, Angular, spring experience.

WSO2 experience will be a plus.

 Experienced in writing tech designs, unit test plans deployments.

 Problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills.

 

Technology Requirements:

Good working knowledge of object-oriented patterns, SOAP and REST, and XML exposure.

Experience with version control software such as SVN and GITHUB.

Experience with Agile/Scrum.
