Position: Sr BI Reports Developer 

Location: Plano / San Antonio, TX – Local to TX

Duration: 12 Months

Visa: Any Visa except H1 B

 

Required Skills

Tableau Developer Business Objects Excel VBA Macros SQL Data Analysis

 

Basic Qualifications

7+ years of Tableau Development Experience 3+ years of Business Objects experience Strong experience with Excel VBA Macros Strong SQL experience (advanced functions)

 

Additional Skills

*WebI experience is HIGHLY preferred* Hands on experience with any ETL tool (Informatica/Datastage) Certification in any of Tableau/BO Hand on experience with Snowflake Experience in Staff Operations

 

Job Description

 

Brief description of the project and what this person will be doing – day to day responsibilities:

Building new reports in Tableau with connections to various data sources

Use SQL to connect to various data sources

Re-platforming from Business Objects to Tableau

Maintaining existing reports in Business Objects/Tableau

Maintaining existing UDAs developed using Excel VBA macros/Tableau

Retiring or re-platforming existing UDA (User Developed Applications)

Present reports to non-technical audience

Build new UDAs using Tableau/Excel VBA macros on need basis for quick turn around and plan to retire them with a proper IT solution

 

Must have skills/technologies:

 Intermediate to Advanced knowledge in the following technologies/skills is must

Tableau developer

Business Objects – WEBI reports

Excel VBA Macros

SQL

Databases

Financials/Accounting knowledge

Presentation/Design skills

ETL Concepts

 

Nice to haves skills/technologies:

Hands on experience with any ETL tool (Informatica/Datastage)

Certification in any of Tableau/BO

Hand on experience with Snowflake

Experience in Staff Operations
