Description:

UST Global® is looking for a dynamic UI/UX designer who will be responsible for the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design of various products. You will ensure that all elements of the online user experience are optimized for improved usability, usefulness, and exceptional visual design. The successful candidate will evidence a passion for delivering adaptive and creative solutions to UI/UX design problems by staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in user experience design and user interface technology. The candidate should be a proven self-starter with demonstrated ability to make decisions and accept responsibility and risk. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with domain experts and IT leadership team is key to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities:

•       Producing high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.

•       Designing UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital assets.

•       Testing UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages.

•       Providing advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities in order to analyze and predict user behavior.

•       Adhering to style standards on typography and graphic design

•       Maintain and enhance web-based interfaces / front-ends for our industry leading web applications

•       Integrate other 3rd party APIs into our web-based interfaces

•       Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with product managers and engineers.

•       Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.

•       Designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets.

•       Collaborate with development and creative teams to improve product quality and user experience

•       Know how to use prototyping tools such as Sketch, Invision or equivalent

Requirements:

•       BA/BS degree or technical institute training or equivalent work experience

•       5+ years of hands on Designing and developing UI/UX experience

•       3-5 years' experience working in JavaScript, ReactJS, SQL and API Use & Integration experience

•       Proficiency in designing interfaces and building clickable prototypes using Sketch, InVision, Axure, etc.

•       Excellent communication and presentation skills.

•       Strong effective communication skills, both written and verbal

•       Experience in agile environment

•       Proficiency using Git version control.

•       Proficiency using the command line

The most successful candidates will also have experience in the following:

HTML5 and CSS3

•       ReactJS

•       SQL

•       JavaScript

•       API Use and Integration experience

•       Github

•       Linux CLI

•       API Development experience

•       PHP experience

•       Azure experience (good to have)

Location: This position will be based in Bentonville, AR
