client JDUST is looking for a highly energetic, collaborative, self-driven and hands on experience in consolidating or migrating JIRA projects at enterprise level. The ideal candidate should have a strong background
In administration of large-scale deployment of JIRA tools. The resource should be able to work on a multi-vendor environment managing customers and teams across multiple geos.
Responsibilities
· The resource will be responsible for migration end to end: planning the migration, setting up matching configurations between source/target systems, setting up the Salesforce integration in target system, testing the migration, and migrating the data
· Should be able to Identify key stakeholders ensuring establishment and maintaining positive business relationships among stakeholders (internal or external)
· Anticipate all possible risks and issues and highlight them
· Work in a fast, self-driven agile environment
· Perform performance requirements related to JIRA migration, work with various JIRA administrators and stakeholders to review approach and get necessary approvals
· Meet with stakeholders to identify JIRA Project and Confluence needs and implement them as appropriate
Skills:
· Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working with JIRA as an Administrator
· Expertise in Jira administration in both Server and Data Center 7.13 and 8.5 versions at large scale
· Excellent understanding of of Jira schemes, fields, workflows, screens
· Mapping and consolidating schemes to minimize the number of new schemes in the target system
· Export and Import of issue data and file attachments
· Analysis and working with REST API callers to advise them how to move their calls to new system
· Expertise in Integration of Salesforce connectivity (zAgile plugin)
· Experience with Akamai filter rules a plus
· Experience as a JIRA Administrator in the past where one has customized JIRA projects with various schemas
· Proficient in Project Setups, Components, JIRA Reporting, Report Filters and Dashboard creation
· Expertise with Java or Groovy
· Experience with Groovy Scripting, Scriptrunner, validators, and post functions.
· Data analysis and experience querying Jira DB to gather stats regarding scheme usage.
· Analysis of most common/least used Jira schemes, fields, workflows, screens
· Business analysis skillset to meet and understand team use cases of Jira statuses and fields.
· Expert level tool administration knowledge on JIRA, and proficiency in Atlassian tool suite, XML
· Proficiency in the following areas is required:3 years of experience providing setup, configuration, administration
· 4+ years of experience building and customizing JIRA projects, Confluence knowledge bases, integration with code repository, shared configuration schemes, and automations
· Experience scripting with Jira REST APIs is a plus
