As a Senior SiteReliability Engineering Lead on the SRE team, you are passionate about evangelizinga DevOps mind and Automation is the standard. Your day to day activities willinclude defining and implementing SRE best practices, deploying and operatingplatforms & applications,monitoring, and defining change/incidentmanagement procedures. You are metric driven, alwaysseeking objective ways toimprove the status quo. You will also be leading the onsite and offshore SREteam.
Job Description:
· Minimum 13+ yearsâ experience with strong DevOPS background
· Working knowledge and experience with OpenShift or Docker or OpenSource Kubernetes
· Expert knowledge in CI/CD and related tools
· Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, includingcreating and runningqueries [MySQL and NOSQL]
· Experience with configuration management tools such asChef/Ansible
· Experience with monitoring tools and handle application/systemalerts
· Experience with application logging and monitoring strategiesusing tools like Splunk etc.
· Experience administrating databases in a high availability model
· Strong experience in Linux and Windows systems to troubleshootissues.
· Strong communication skills with a strong sense of urgency andattention to details
· Advocate of shifting left and enabling development teams topredictably deliver software without surprises.
· Experience proving application resiliency employing fitness testssuch as chaos engineering
· Leadership
· Evaluate third party vendor products
· Create and maintain automation and monitoring framework
· Respond and resolve incidents, problem and user queries throughproper analysis
· Rotating weekly SOW responsibilities, that involves dailytroubleshooting of incidents to
ensure SLAs and SLOs are met
· Provide guidance to other team members on managing end-to-endavailability and
performance of mission critical services
· To tackle assignments with minimal supervision
