Role: NetBackup Admin

Location: Chicago, IL & Indianapolis, IN

Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description: 

• At least 7 years of relevant experience on NetBackup technology

• Good experience in NetApp and nice to have experience in PureStorage Administration

• Strong experience in NetBackup administration including backup and recovery, patching and upgrade, management and administration on both Servers and appliances.

• Good experience in tape management and administration

• Experience on management and reporting tools such as NetBackup OpsCenter and NetApp tools (OCUM, OCI, Santricity and BNA)

• Data replication experience using NetApp SnapVault, SnapMirror, SnapCreator and SnapCenter.

• Working knowledge on Storage provisioning

• Experience on Disaster recovery planning and implementation

• Good understanding of RAID concepts and configuration and implementation of RAID

• Possesses hands on expertise in troubleshooting day to day SAN/Storage, Reporting the environment and host related issues quickly

• Excellent technical leadership and team management skills

• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
• Must be able to work in 24x7 production support environment
• Participate in an on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with project management
• Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel

• Symantec NetBackup Administration certified

• Planning and Co-ordination skills
• Good Communication and Analytical skills
