Responsibilities:
· Helpwrite analytics code, jobs, services and components in Java, Apache Spark,Python, Hive and related Big Data Technologies
· Responsiblefor design, development and operations of systems that store and manage largeamounts of data in data lake and snowflake
· Responsiblefor creating micro service components using the REST, Spring/Spring BootTechnologies
· Providingexpertise in technical analysis and solving technical issues during projectdelivery
· Workproactively, independently and with cross functional teams to address projectrequirements, and articulate issues/challenges with enough lead time to addressproject delivery risks
· Requirementgathering and understanding, analyze and convert functional requirements intoconcrete technical tasks
Skills:
· Technicalexpert possessing full stack knowledge of enterprise application developmentusing Java and Big Data suite of Technologies.
· 10+years of software development experience in designing, implementing large,complex, distributed, highly scalable and secure applications.
· Experiencewith Apache Spark, Python, Hive and Hadoop
· Hands-onexperience with Java.
· Hands-onexperience with Tomcat, EMR and AWS cloud services.
· Knowledgeof Docker and OpenShift Container Platform is an advantage
· Hands-onDevOps experience using tools like Git, Bitbucket, Cloud bees/Jenkins,Maven
· Strongexperience in developing, refactoring and re-engineering applications usingREST, Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate and Angular
· Experienceusing PostgreSQL and Snowflake database; SQL tuning experience is a plus
· Strongknowledge of Linux/Unix operating system and Shell/Perl scripting
· Experiencewith Groovy and Terraform is a plus
· Agile/Scrummethodology experience is required.
· Strongcommunication skills, should be able to communicate effectively with businessand other stake holders
· Demonstrateownership and initiative taking
