The Solutions Architect develops technology strategy acrossdomains and owns overall architectural approach in crafting innovativesolutions for new and unique situations. This specific team works in amulti-network prepaid product area that will involve Billing/Rating, Care,Customer Experience, Network Evolution & Migration and a number of otherdomains. What you'll do in your role.

The Solutions Architect develops innovative solutions andtechnology strategy. They own the E2E solution design strategy across teams,and partner with other architects. The role makes recommendations for newprocedures and overall architectural approach, partnering with senior levelArchitects. Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situationor data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Exercises judgement in methods,techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Creates formalnetworks involving coordination among groups. Informal supervision of other’swork assignments.

 

â-ª Owns solution design and documentation in T-Shirt andAssessment documents (portions of the CARBL working model) for cross domaininitiatives and works across domains to ensure cohesive solution.

â-ª Reviews and identifies the gaps in the architecture andsolution designs, assesses and defines remediation efforts or mitigationoptions.

â-ª Drives to practical solutions considering all teams,initiatives and long-term outlook.

 

Relationship and People Management

â-ª Interacts with Senior management to shape and alignsolutions against desired minimum viable product scope.

â-ª Participates in formal internal training programs.

The experience you'll bring.

 

â-ª 5+ years’ related work experience.

â-ª 5 years’ of progressive experience in softwareengineering/enterprise architecture/technology leadership across multipleproducts, systems and/or platforms coupled with strong business acumen andexecutive presence.

â-ª 5 years’ working in solutions design and enterprisearchitecture delivering IT solutions.

â-ª 5 years’ of experience in Enterprise applications, PLM,middle-tier services, database, storage, distributed computing, virtualizationand/or application technology.

â-ª Proven ability executing high-profile projects andproviding thought leadership to an organization.

â-ª Experience in delivering industrial platforms orhorizontal software middleware.

â-ª Knowledge of technologies and Packaged Plaform/Systemsincluding Oracle (databases), Public Cloud services, billing/ratingtechnologies, etc.

 

Education:

â-ª Required: Bachelor’s Degree. In lieu of Bachelor’s degree,equivalent industry experience may be considered.

 

Travel:

â-ª May require up to 10% of domestic overnight travel withinthe region, and occasional trips to the Bellevue Headquarters.

â-ª This position is located at the campus located in OverlandPark, Kansas. While there may be “work from home” situations given currentevents, we do anticipate a return to the office for routine working hours whenthat is appropriate.

 

â-ª Must be able to communicate with others effectivelythrough written communication methods. Must be able to communicate (talking,hearing, etc.) with others effectively through oral communication methods.

â-ª This position requires working with a computer(keyboard/mouse), telephone, and/or calculator; or, other repetitive use ofhands.
