Location : Remote
Duration: 6+ Months
Job Description:
Working knowledge of installation, configuration, administration, security approaches, performance tuning/optimization and process scheduling of Qlik is preferred.
Provide Qlik Sense administration services via Management Console: managing licenses, setting up permission, designing folder structure & scheduling tasks for publishing purposes.
Install, configure and upgrade QlikView, QlikSense application Analyze Windows Event logs and QlikSense Server log files to troubleshoot and solve issues; Identify potential solutions to resolve and prevent service interruptions.
Administer/maintain access to QlikSense Management Console.
Pro-actively monitor the QlikSense environment to ensure performance and scalability.
Perform load/regression testing on dashboards where needed.
Manage migration of Qlik objects between Development, QA and Production environments.
Define best practices and governance.
Should be able to develop reports using Tableau Desktop and Server
Should be able to work on Hadoop/Hive database
Present and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
6-10+ years' experience architecting software in a medium to complex environment supporting multiple services and multiple databases.
5+ years' experience with Windows Server architecture
Demonstrated knowledge of security by design and remediation of security web and IP vulnerabilities in Qlik.
Demonstrated abilities with SSO-related software such as SiteMinder
Cloud and DevOps orchestration experience is preferred
Understanding of High Availability and Networked Storage solutions including Clustering, Failover and Disaster Recovery products
