Position - API & DevOps engineer Location – Remote post covid NYC,NY Job Description ·        Design and develop scalable APIs using our data to power various products and use cases ·        Automate processes to deploy, manage, configure, scale, and monitor internal, product, and cloud-based applications with a focus on security, resiliency and cost effectiveness. ·        Create automation patterns for CI/CD, infrastructure deployment, maintenance, monitoring, security, QA, and compliance using industry and enterprise best practices. ·        Continuously improve patterns and workflow by collecting and responding to feedback and key metrics. ·        Management and support of infrastructure and development applications including continuous integration, source code management, and hosted applications. ·        Active participation in high level team activities such as suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements and conducting tool evaluations. ·        Work collaboratively with members from development and data science teams to ensure a successful delivery and implementation of assigned tasks. Liaison with next level management. What We Look For ·        5+ years of experience building, maintaining, and automating distributed systems, data infrastructure, APIs, back-end systems or related infrastructure. ·        5+ years of experience working with AWS and Azure cloud ecosystems. Proficient in deploying applications, building pipelines, monitoring, and alerting services. ·        2-3 years of software engineering with Python and/or Javascript required ·        Experience using SQL, for querying and for database administration ·        Experience with Linux administration. Ubuntu preferred. ·        Extensive experience building data warehousing solutions using tools like Redshift, Snowflake and Azure Data Factory. ·        Experience with distributed computing/streaming frameworks, such as Apache Spark, Kafka, or Apache Storm ·        Experience working with deployment and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). ·        Proficient in CI/CD (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions) and SCM tools (Git, Subversion). ·        A strong communicator, with ability to align the organization on complex technical decisions, even when non-technical stakeholders are involved. ·        Active coach and mentor whose goals are to grow and maximize the team’s potential. ·        Computer Science or related degree or 5+ years of experience in software development.   Thanks & Regards, Rohit Lalwani rohit.lalwani@cyberthink.com www.cyberthink.com/staffing Direct-908-721-5960
