The Senior O365 Engineer/Architect will utilize expert level experience and knowledge of enterprise productivity cloud applications and platforms (O365, Azure). He/she will be hands on expert who develops frameworks, architecture, administration plans, and best practice recommendations adhering to the enterprise security, legal and regulatory/compliance controls required for cloud environments for the architecting/building/transition of O365 services for the GSK and New CH company as needed. Leads the resolution of the most complex technical transition issues with agile mindset while providing expert technical support and direction to multiple productivity design, build and deployment teams. Below is the list of activities at high level but the willingness to pick up new areas as per the evolving needs in the O365 areas is key for the success in this role.
- Have good experience in Architecture, Design and build O365 and related productivity technologies (Messaging (Exchange Online and SMTP Email infrastructure and external email security), Enterprise Content(SharePoint online), Power Platform, Project Online, Enterprise Collaboration, Security, eDiscovery, Teams and other products in Microsoft O365 echo system) in new tenant design, migration and deployment models
- Lead O365 Transition to New Consumer by working on the technical deliverables with peers and development partners in executing technology activities
- Lead O365 Transition to New Consumer by partnering with Product Management, Release Train, Security, management and other cross functional teams in developing the transitional roadmap & solutions.
- Have accountability for O365 Transition to New Consumer for the technical quality of Productivity Solutions Technology platforms & applications
- Ensure O365 Transition to New Consumer continuously improves Productivity Transition Solutions offering
- Accountable for all the O365 Solutions Technical Architecture, Proof of Concepts, Integrations, Product/Service Design and Build including documentation
- Collaborates with the enterprise architecture team, Security and compliance teams to adhere to the new company design principles while working with the cross functional teams and MSP’s to complete the new O365 infrastructure build out and configuration.
- Possesses broad knowledgebase of technical architecture (O365) and the interdependencies with other enterprise services
- Expert knowledge in Microsoft and partner technology roadmaps and future developments for productivity tools to ensure smooth introduction and implementation within the new environment
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Possesses broad knowledgebase of technical architecture (O365) and the interdependencies with other enterprise services
- General understanding of the partner technology roadmaps and future developments for productivity tools to ensure smooth introduction and implementation within GSK environment
- Identity and Conditional Access design and implementation experience
- Knowledge of how different collaboration technologies interact and dependencies, development patterns & practices.
- Experience with implementation/configuration of productivity and collaboration tools
- Experience with on-premise Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and Hybrid deployments
- Experience with PowerShell, PowerShell Workflow and troubleshooting PowerShell ISE
- Implementation of advanced functions of Security and Compliance areas with respect to Productivity solutions
- Experience working in an Agile environment and with knowledge of SAFE / Agile practises
- Good understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps including implementation in an Enterprise Environment
