Senior Data Engineer

Role: Senior Data Engineer

Location: New York, NY, 100% Remote
Duration: 6 months plus 

Work Authorization: Any (No OPT’s and CPT’s) 

 

JD:- 

 

* 6+ years of Data Engineering experience in ETL design, development, optimization & testing using PL/SQL, SAP Data Services (BODS) or Talend etc .
* 5+ PL/SQL, Complex SQL Tuning, Stored Procedures, Data Warehousing best practices etc.
* 3+ years of experience in relational and Cloud database design, optimization and performance.
* Ability to convert HIVE/SQL queries to Spark using Scala.
* Ingestion of data to and from RDBMS to Cassandra.
* Experience using creating components in Python and Java.
* Experience in Oracle and SqlServer.
* Knowledge of using Docker, Git and Jenkins.
* Manage jobs using Apache Airflow.
* Good to have Distributed SQL knowledge such as InfluxDB and YugabyteDB.
* Knowledge of Cloud Platform AWS or GCP.
* Need well versed in Agile and Spring planning.
