Position: Infrastructure engineer

Location: Chicago, IL

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of experience building and releasing infrastructure-as-code (IAC) in a controlled environment with an understanding of full lifecycle configuration management
Minimum of 4 years of experience developing coding/scripting to build required automation and tools using YAML, JSON, Python, Chef, Ruby, Bash, Azure CLI, PowerShell, Java
Implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery automation framework for infrastructure service delivery
Influence culture change as our infrastructure teams move to infrastructure-as-code and standard development practices to transform how they do work
Partner with other IT leaders to solicit, understand and adopt new technologies and practices that contribute to holistic efficiencies in IT service delivery
Design and develop automation capabilities to reduce or eliminate manual tasks related to both application infrastructure delivery
Promote and enable re-use of repeatable application architecture patterns
Contribute to the definition, maintenance and adherence to server, middleware and application infrastructure engineering standards and policies
Analyze technology requirements and specifications to determine compatibility with application and server infrastructure standards
Experience in developing against API for cross function requirements
