Position : ArcGIS Admin Location: Remote ( Austin TX) Duration: 1.5+ year contract Starting : 4/1/21 Visa : Open Project Details: Install, configure, and manage ArcGIS software in AWS cloud. · Create detailed ArcGIS architectural diagrams, Installation Guides, and Runbooks necessary for operational management of ArcGIS software. · Work with the security team in creating a System Security Plan to harden the installation. · Address non-functional requirements such as scalability, high availability, performance, disaster recovery, and reliability. · Automate monitoring and incident response to the extent possible through scripting. · Onboard users to the environment, educate them on best practices, help troubleshoot and resolve issues.   All other duties as assigned.   Degree/Certs ArcGIS Cert Top Skills: 8RequiredExperience managing ArcGIS Enterprise out of which at least three years in a public cloud environment. 8RequiredExperience in monitoring the performance and health of the site using server logs and statistics, submitting error reports, and locating, querying, and intervening in current geoprocessing jobs. 5RequiredExcellent oral and written communication skills. 5RequiredProblem solving and analytical skills. 4RequiredExperience in securing the site using firewalls and ports, server certificates, and strict HTTPS communication following the best practices for security rules and adhering to enterprise policies. 4RequiredWorking experience on Linux operating systems. 4RequiredExperience in building custom administrative automation tools and script workflows using ArcGIS REST API and ArcPy.
