Position - Azure Data Lead / Architect

Location: San Jose, CA (preferably West Coast)

10-12 years’ experience – Client-facing role. Need very good Client management skills and experience. Have to deal with multiple stakeholders across teams. Needs good combination of soft skills and architecture skills on Azure

Skills:

Experience with Azure Data services - Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory Gen 2, Databricks
Architect and Design Enterprise Data Platform
Databricks
Azure Data Lake
Synapse - Dedicated SQL Pools and On-Demand
Azure Data Factory
Big Data (Spark, Scala, Java & Python)
Power BI skills helpful

Responsibilities:

Responsible for overall technical solution design of data product lifecycle optimization recommendations
Help interface with multiple architects and groups in client organization – infra, application, data, and business on Data Platform
Focus on improving the architecture and design of their current data product lifecycle.
Ensure architecture best practices are being followed
Review architecture designs to facilitate compliance with program and architectural guidelines
Participate in architectural design sessions as requested
Help with data product lifecycle business process by finding gaps between technology and business aspects
Help drive architecture and design for data product lifecycle improvements
Lead POCs and Implementation of recommended optimizations
Architect data platform solution components – integration of new data sources, data processing, optimization etc.
