Immediate need Linux Admin@Irving, TX

Role: Linux Admin

Location: Irving, TX

Duration: 6+ Months

Job Descrption:

- Strong background in Linux Administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, etc). Working knowledge of scripting: Unix shell, Puppet, Jenkins, scripting, etc
- Responsible for developing and executing deployment packages for deploying, automating, monitoring and supporting high-availability Linux-based servers and applications in cloud/VM hosted environments
- Possess Windows Administration experience
- Have Experience in designing, deploying, or operating storage infrastructure in an AWS cloud environment & on premises
- Keep internal networks (Load balancers, DNS, Domain Names, SSL Certificates, VMware vCenter/vSphere, ESXi, VMware Operating stack, Active Directory, Windows Servers, Linux, good working knowledge on the Storage Area Network (SAN - Dell/EMC/HP/Tegile), Phone System, Office 365, and Tomcat/Apace web servers) operational
- Work collaboratively with operations and engineering in new system design, process improvement, and resolving complex technical problems.
- Perform backup, file replications and script management for servers.
- Recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications & equipment.
- Own problem resolution, facilitate discussions and provide status updates during critical situation outages.
- Troubleshooting and resolution of Data Center infrastructure problems.
- Participate in problem management and root cause analysis Update and maintain Data Center processes, change management, daily operations, outage and emergency processes
- The candidate should be okay for occasional after-hours, weekend support/maintenance activity for Lab/Prod environments
- Possess good knowledge and understanding of Networking concepts
- Possess experience in monitoring tools such a Nagios, etc
