Position: Data Engineer

Location: Eden Prairie, MN – 100% Remote

Duration: 6 Months

Client: UHG

Vendor: Apex

 

Job Description

Below are the requirements:

1. Advanced degree in Computer Science, AI/Machine Learning, Statistics, Optimization or related discipline

2. Demonstrated experience in the fundamentals, practical application, and best practices of AI

3. 5+ years track record of advanced AI development and deployment

4. Experience with Spark, Hadoop, Azure / cloud, MPI, or other distributed frameworks

5. Fluency in R, Python, Scala, Java, C/C++ or other programming languages to demonstrate the results of algorithmic approaches

6. Strong software design and architecture skills with an eye towards avoiding and reducing technical debt

7. Prior experience with Cloud AI APIs (GCP, Azure, AWS)

8. Experience building and running ML algorithms in automated production environments
