Required Skills
The Business Systems Analyst will be supporting the Guidewire Initiative, specializing in Policy Center. The current legacy systems for California will be replaced by Guidewire. The project they are assigned to (CAPPA) is a migration project so if they have migration experience that is a plus. Strong communication is a must, working with business leaders Must have P&C experience Must have Guidewire Policy Center or Underwriting experience Confluence for writing requirements Excel for tracking/mapping, XML, basic SQL knowledge for writing queries, diagram experience.

BSA
Remote during Covid, MUST sit onsite in Brea, CA after restrictions are lifted
Experience with Policy Center on the Guidewire platform (Guidewire STRONGLY Preferred, but will accept a candidate that has INSURANCE, P&C, AND UNDERWRITING EXPERIENCE)
5+ years professional experience as a business systems analysis
Experience supporting Property & Casualty Underwriting systems (alternately, we'll consider experience with Life insurance)
Experience with Private Passenger Auto line of business
Proficient in working directly with business users to understand business processes, gather & document requirements, and work closely with the user community to implement system changes that meet business needs.
Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to effectively work with remote users via phone, email, Teams, and other virtual collaboration tools.
Experience interpreting and writing Use Cases, Functional Requirements, Screen Specs, and Data Mapping documents
Technical proficiency, with the ability to understand data flows and the flow between complex, integrated systems (experience working with third-party vendors is preferred, but optional)
Experience collaborating with Development & QA teams
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
