Location : Chicago, IL (REMOTE till COVID subsides)

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining security baselines within Azure cloud environment
- Should be able to set up and manage access to cloud resources using accounts, users, and groups
- Should be knowledgeable about potential vulnerabilities of virtual machines and container deployment systems
- Lead projects including strategic planning design, technical review and implementation for Microsoft security solutions such as O365 Advanced Threat Protection, Defender Advanced Threat Protection, Azure Advanced Threat Protection, Cloud App Security and Azure Sentinel
- Work closely with enterprise architects to identify and mitigate risks, perform security reviews, and design top tier security practices
- Propose, design, plan and execute strategic and tactical operational security objectives
- Serve as a trusted advisor, delivering technical support, strategic recommendations for security posture improvement through implementation of security solutions and applications to client IT personnel
- The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation across Microsoft technology stack and Azure security offerings and the ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts to key stakeholders along with experience with the following:
- Design and Implementation of Azure B2C Security, Azure AD/ AD Connect, Hybrid Identity, RBAC, PIM, Identity Protection, MFA, Azure App Proxy, SSO, and Conditional Access
- Azure Key Vault, Azure Security Center, Azure Operations Management Service, Log Analytics
- Architecture and security management
- Strong understanding of security best practices including securing network and enterprise cloud apps
- Privileged access management technologies
- Security frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST 800-53 or OWASP
- Knowledge of host hardening, auditing, logging and monitoring, network security, SEIM deployments, security analytics, anomaly detections, PKI
- Understanding of industry trends for cybersecurity, risk & threat intelligence, and governance
- Proven implementation of cloud security models, particularly identity, network, and encryption
- Demonstrated understanding of Microsoft security technologies and strategy
- Project management skills and solution support for security transformation/implementation programs
Certifications:
- CISSP, CCSP, CSSLP
- Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Administrator, Azure Security Engineer, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist, etc.
Other Responsibilities:
Multi-disciplinary Azure Certifications and skills that are required for this role:-
- Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Provide STAR assessments for application migrations to cloud and provide security assessments & identify security risks.
- Provide recommendations to other solutions architects, mentor them and advising them with client̢۪s security standards & best practices to implement architecture.
- Work closely with Microsoft SMEs in analyzing newer Azure services that Leap teams wants to use as part of their architecture.
- Observe and identify security risks, report to leadership.
